A dose of reality...

If you’re a shameful fan like I am, you would have seen the enviable wedding of Brisbane couple Nicole & Keller on last week's Married At First Sight. If you didn’t, then allow me to fill you in on some of the details.

I, along with half of the nation waited with baited breath as Brisbane couple Nicole & Keller met for the first time. Their meeting happened down the end of the aisle, at which point they immediately proceeded to tie the knot! The nuptials were held at one of Brisbane’s most picturesque locations, Landing at Dockside with river views on full display. The newlyweds and their guests then continued the celebrations at Lightspace, a favourite of Brisbane brides and grooms-to-be. The warehouse venue was decorated in enchanting pink hues, gold accents, and touches of greenery to bring it all to life.

I was fortunate enough to be asked to design the newlywed’s event stationery. The design brief included menus and place cards for the happy couple and their forty guests, and followed the event theme of being classic and minimalist. I went with a simple yet sophisticated black and white design, printed on thick textured card to create a luxe finish, whilst still being understated. The calligraphy-inspired designs looked flawless next to the tailored table settings and event decor; I was definitely suffering from wedding envy!

I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to see what happens on tonight's episode, who said romance was dead?
